About the Role

The Zentrum ÜBERLEBEN is implementing the project "Transcultural Opening in Nursing: Recognizing and Overcoming Racism" on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Health. The project focuses on teachers, practical instructors, and trainees in nursing professions, as well as their educational institutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, discuss, and revise teaching materials to embed diversity competence.
• Support ongoing workshops.
• Create teaching and learning materials in consultation with cooperation partners and project staff.
• Develop training modules and integrate them into a digital learning platform.
• Implement the project plan.
• Communicate with various project stakeholders.
• Collaborate interprofessionally within the project team and relevant departments.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a teacher.
• Experience designing learning units for trainees and teachers.
• Experience and connection to the nursing profession.
• Solid knowledge and experience with diversity, transculturality, racism, and discrimination.
• Transcultural competence.

Work Type

• Equivalent qualification in the pedagogical field.

Salary/Compensations

• Compensation based on TV-L 25, E13.
• Salary range: €1,145.68 - €1,413.89, depending on qualification and experience.

About the Company

• Zentrum ÜBERLEBEN (formerly Behandlungszentrum für Folteropfer e.V.) supports survivors of torture and war violence nationally and internationally.
• Provides medical, psychotherapeutic, social work, and integrative support to clients and patients.
• Works with specially trained interpreters to overcome language barriers in intercultural counseling and treatment.
• Focuses on rehabilitation of traumatized refugees, integration, professional qualification, and social participation for people with diverse flight and migration experiences.
