About the Role

Provide administrative support to the Investment Advisor team within CIBC’s Wood Gundy brokerage, assisting with client investment planning, management, and servicing high net worth client accounts. This role offers an opportunity to learn the investment business in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance standards in client dealings and files.
  • Conduct administrative activities and processes to support Investment Advisors and teams.
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities.
  • Assist in developing investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients.
  • Assist in directing assets into suitable financial products based on client risk tolerances and demographic profiles.
  • Connect on a personal level to make every client interaction meaningful.
  • Enhance client relationships by collaborating with the team and providing administrative support.
  • Respond to client requests by answering questions and providing an exceptional experience.
  • Heighten CIBC brand awareness by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.
  • Grow professional network to create lasting connections and generate future opportunities.
  • Work closely with the team to connect clients with appropriate opportunities.
  • Support Investment Advisors by providing timely responses to client requests.
  • Improve team productivity and proactively uncover business opportunities.
  • Help direct assets into appropriate financial products.

Salary/Compensations

  • Annualized base salary range: $48,880 to $51,720
