About the Role

This role supports the maintenance, application, and creation of management fees, IFA payments, administration charges, and Financial Planning fees. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate application of fee structures, maintaining client service levels, and supporting operational efficiency across client accounts. This position operates within the First Line of Defence, identifying, assessing, and mitigating business risks.

Responsibilities

  • Apply management fees, IFA payments, and financial planning information to new managed accounts
  • Liaise with investment managers to resolve missing or incorrect fees/charges
  • Amend client account service levels, ensuring correct fees and charges are applied
  • Create and manage pro-rata charges
  • Review and validate daily automated management fee invoices
  • Print and dispatch invoices to clients and investment managers
  • Create and maintain client groupings for fee and IFA payment purposes
  • Develop and maintain bespoke Front Office rate cards, ensuring accurate documentation and approvals
  • Support investment managers with fee creation, amendments, and re-credits
  • Apply charges to account closures
  • Investigate and resolve issues raised in exception reports
  • Liaise with internal teams regarding applied charges
  • Provide team cover during absences
  • Create and post ISA, SIPP, and other plan charges

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fee administration, financial administration, or a similar role

Skills

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in financial systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity and confidentiality
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with a focus on process improvement
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
