About the Role
Bike Club offers a subscription service for high-quality children's bikes, promoting a resource-saving circular economy by exchanging bikes as children grow. Responsibilities
- Build the bike club workshop in Berlin with support from London experts.
- Ensure the quality lightweight bike fleet is well-maintained and ready for dispatch.
- Repair and refurbish bikes to Bike Club high standards.
- Allocate work among the team.
- Support onboarding and training of team members.
- Ensure seamless operational workflow.
- Drive daily performance of team members.
- Maintain an organized and equipped workshop.
- Report and solve issues.
- Collaborate closely with operations and third-party logistics teams.
Requirements
- Experience as a bicycle mechanic, bicycle mechatronics technician, or similar mechanical/craft experience.
- Belief in the circular economy and interest in sustainability.
- Well-organized with attention to detail.
- Confident communication in German and/or English.
