About the Role

At United, the Technical Operations team ensures aircraft are well-maintained and ready for customer travel. This full-time role involves providing service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe, and Components. Duties include inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, and routine maintenance, all contributing to keeping the fleet flight-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, and routine maintenance
  • Ensure the fleet remains flight-ready
  • Collaborate professionally with co-workers
  • Work in various weather conditions

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED/Educational Equivalent
  • FAA A&P License
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Computer literacy
  • Pass a background check and drug screen upon contingent job offer
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to train
  • Ability to access elevated aircraft areas via ladders, lift trucks, boom lifts, and other devices
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, demonstrate physical flexibility, and work in confined spaces
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Strong mechanical competence and attention to detail
  • Availability for any shift within a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays
  • Punctuality and reliability
