About the Role
Join the Managed Kubernetes team to develop and maintain the Managed Kubernetes Product for internal teams and external customers. This role requires Kubernetes architecture experience and a focus on operational aspects aligned with CKA principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications in Golang (Kubernetes Operators, REST APIs, libraries).
- Design and implement new features for the Managed Kubernetes offering.
- Contribute to service architecture and infrastructure-as-code process development.
- Develop and maintain the complete DevOps toolchain (Helm Charts, GitHub Actions, GitOps workflows).
- Create and maintain Kubernetes operators, controllers, and custom resource definitions (CRDs).
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observation solutions for Kubernetes workloads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in Golang development with a track record of delivering production-grade code.
- Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, API resources, and extension patterns.
- Knowledge of container orchestration, networking, and security principles.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Linux system administration skills.
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS) are a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
- Experience with multi-cluster and multi-tenant Kubernetes architectures is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source Kubernetes ecosystem projects are a plus.
