About the Role

Superhuman, an AI productivity company behind Grammarly, Coda Docs, and Superhuman Mail, seeks a macOS Software Engineer for the Grammarly for Mac team. This role involves end-to-end development of an AI-powered product for Mac users, enhancing communication and writing. The engineer will contribute to features and infrastructure, innovating to shape the product roadmap and address growing technical challenges, building a complex, multifaceted product with opportunities for creativity and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Contribute to robust architectural foundations.
Innovate to overcome technical limitations and deliver features.
Build complex UX solutions with intricate UI elements.
Optimize for minimum latency with complex documents.
Ensure performance using algorithms and data structures knowledge.
Develop shared components for Grammarly’s Apple platform products.
Apply engineering best practices using Swift, AppKit, and CoreGraphics.

Requirements

Driven by the mission to unlock Superhuman potential and lead with company values.
Strong knowledge of Swift, OOD, OOP, and multithreading (GCD).
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
Fluent in engineering best practices: code review, test coverage, and monitoring.
Excited by finding optimal solutions in uncertain situations.
Enjoys fast-paced delivery and consistent feedback.
Experience developing desktop applications with Mac internals (preferred).
