About the Role
Join our tax team to build tax knowledge and experience, delivering robust and tax-efficient services to help clients meet their wider objectives. Deliver Corporate Tax Compliance and advisory services, providing a stellar first-rate experience by removing jargon.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex business tax clients within your specialism, including reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures.
- Sign out tax returns for complex clients, working independently from the director or partner.
- Provide Pillar 2 compliance and advisory services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all tax matters.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on business tax issues, including corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance.
- Assist with tax investigations and disputes, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Work closely with other departments, such as audit and advisory, to provide a seamless service to clients.
- Assist with business development activities, including identifying cross-sell opportunities and generating new business leads.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of firm's ways of working.
- May manage a team with direct line management responsibility, coaching and supporting junior members' technical development.
Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering robust tax compliance services to clients.
- Experience delivering ad hoc advisory work.
- Passion for clients and their business.
- Experience looking after a variety of clients, including large corporate groups, internationally owned, and private equity backed.
