Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultative sales to research and healthcare customers, understanding their goals and providing tailored solutions.
  • Lead sales activities for advanced life sciences instruments, managing complex opportunities and research equipment introduction projects.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and procurement teams.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with channel partners and distributors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams like field application scientists, technical support, and marketing.
  • Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce for opportunity and customer information management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in life sciences, scientific, healthcare, or laboratory industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Technical knowledge to understand customer applications and workflows.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and sales strategy planning capabilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
