The role delivers data-driven, platform-based data center solutions, ensuring continuity from early-stage design through operations. It establishes frameworks, standards, and governance for structured digital delivery, modern construction methods, and operational asset integration, defining and assuring architectural design strategy, information governance, digital delivery assurance, lifecycle digital asset integration, and data environments for analytics, AI, and digital twin enablement.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural scope across early-stage development, including feasibility, test fits, and concept design.
- Define and evolve scalable, repeatable design solutions aligned to platform strategy and standardisation objectives.
- Integrate CSA, MEP, ICT, and Security requirements into coordinated, buildable solutions.
- Contribute to product and platform development, including modularisation and DfMA strategies.
- Support technical decision-making across cost, programme, constructability, and performance.
- Lead regional delivery of digital information strategy aligned with global goals.
- Establish and maintain ISO 19650-compliant information frameworks and CDE governance (ACC/Forma).
- Define and enforce portfolio-wide information standards, naming conventions, and digital workflows.
- Lead digital delivery assurance, including data quality, lifecycle governance, design review, submission compliance, and consultant BIM execution governance.
- Drive portfolio consistency through standardised digital processes, onboarding, and governance.
- Provide governance over BIM/Digital Delivery teams to ensure consistent execution of model federation and coordination, clash detection and resolution workflows, geometry QA and model health monitoring, naming compliance and Revit standards, Level of Development (LOD) definition and compliance, view templates and publishing workflows, Navisworks coordination, and discipline model management and consultant integration.
- Ensure implementation of BIM model auditing frameworks, geometry compliance validation, model coordination control, and LOD validation and reporting.
- Establish and govern the EMEA digital asset lifecycle framework, covering design through operations and asset refresh.
- Define structured digital turnover requirements enabling operational readiness and maintainable asset records.
- Develop asset information models aligned to COBie, structured asset data deliverables, digital twin readiness, and operational metadata standards.
- Lead integration strategy between design environments and operational systems (ACC/FORMA, DCIM, BMS, CMMS, GIS, SCADA, ERP platforms).
- Enable mapping of design assets to operational systems, ensuring true lifecycle data continuity.
- Define structured data frameworks enabling portfolio-wide analytics, performance intelligence, asset information quality monitoring, and predictive/AI-enabled operational insights.
- Support development of asset relationship models, telemetry-enabled asset strategies, digital twin data schemas, and live data environments.
- Ensure readiness of data environments for machine learning, advanced analytics, operational optimisation, and asset intelligence.
- Establish digital frameworks supporting industrialised delivery and manufacturing traceability, including serialised asset data structures, module genealogy, prefab tracking, and factory QA/QC digital records.
- Define standards for manufacturing data integration, supply chain digital continuity, and FAT/SAT linkage to operational asset data.
- Implement strategies for QR/RFID asset tracking and integration with OFCI procurement datasets.
- Drive alignment across Design, Delivery, Procurement, Development, and Operations teams.
- Act as a key interface between MCE, Global/Regional Digital Information teams, and regional stakeholders.
- Lead engagement with consultants, contractors, and technology providers to ensure alignment with standards and delivery objectives.
- Lead initiatives to improve digital delivery, data quality, and lifecycle integration.
- Identify and implement new technologies supporting digital engineering, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), automation, data integration, digital twin, and asset intelligence.
