About the Role

Design, secure, and scale hybrid energy trading infrastructure. Bridge algorithmic trading desks, risk management systems, and core operations. Architect seamless CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure connecting high-performance on-premises clusters with scalable Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. Maximize system uptime and ensure ultra-low latency data delivery during volatile trading windows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and build scalable environments in AWS and Azure.
  • Establish comprehensive observability via logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern tools, implementing automated testing, security scanning, and deployment orchestration.
  • Manage CI/CD systems, building and deploying pipelines.
  • Lead DevSecOps initiatives, including infrastructure hardening, IAM policies, secrets management, compliance automation, and security scanning in build pipelines.
  • Assist with containerizing applications and managing container orchestration.
  • Collaborate with international team members to ensure application stack efficacy, compatibility, and performance.
  • Establish DevOps best practices, standards, strategy, and processes for company-wide DevOps adoption.

Requirements

  • DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering experience with proven expertise in AWS.
  • Tangible experience with Linux, Containers, and related technologies.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and AWS CDK.
  • Advanced proficiency with major DB platforms: SQL Server, MySQL, Amazon Aurora.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, Terraform, AWS CDK.
  • Excellent written communication, problem-solving, and process management skills.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence) (desirable).
  • Experience with CI/CD in a hybrid Cloud Environment (desirable).
  • Experience with serverless architectures (desirable).
  • Setup configuration and infrastructure on principle of everything as code (desirable).
  • Backend testing framework familiarity (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Finance or FinTech Industry (desirable).
