About the Role

This role supports modeling and analytics for retail measurement data in the Korean FMCG market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve client business challenges, define methodologies, and align on analytical approaches. A key responsibility involves developing and validating Universe definitions and projection methodologies to accurately expand panel data. You will also translate data outputs into clear business narratives for clients, explaining assumptions and reasoning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data models for FMCG / retail measurement in the Korean market
  • Design, validate, and refine Universe setting and projection methodologies based on panel data
  • Perform data cleaning, processing, and quality validation to ensure robust output
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define analytical approaches and methodologies for client projects
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, structured storytelling for client communication
  • Present reasoning behind methodologies, assumptions, and outputs to clients
  • Continuously improve data quality, projection accuracy, and modeling approaches
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and contribute to effective project delivery

Requirements

  • Background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in FMCG, retail measurement, consumer analytics, or related industries
  • Solid understanding of data processing, statistical concepts, and modeling fundamentals

Skills

  • Python for data analysis and modeling
  • SQL
  • Working with large-scale datasets
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with global teams
  • Ability to explain analytical outputs to clients

Experience Level

  • Around 6+ years of experience

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
