About the Role

Support a sub-project within the MOTRA research consortium, focusing on systematically monitoring radicalisation trends in Germany and strengthening related knowledge transfer. This role involves working closely with researchers in the conflict transformation research team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct qualitative expert surveys (interviews and questionnaire surveys) among actors from science, security authorities, and prevention practice.
  • Analyze collected data using qualitative research methods.
  • Document project results and disseminate them within the consortium, at national and international conferences, and in practice.
  • Coordinate research activities, professional exchange, and data integration with the consortium.
  • Prepare donor reports.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Master's degree program in a social science subject.
  • Solid knowledge in radicalisation and extremism.
  • Familiarity with qualitative data collection and analysis methods.
  • Initial experience conducting and analyzing interviews and/or focus groups.
  • Experience working with MAXQDA analysis software or comparable tools.
  • Experience working with online questionnaires is an advantage.
