About the Role

Responsibilities
- Shape content within government services to be clear, useful, and accessible.
- Work from evidence, research findings, analytics, and policy documents.

- Push back on jargon and challenge unnecessary complexity.
- Advocate for the user when stakeholders default to covering-all-bases language.
Requirements
- Experience designing content for government digital services.
- Familiarity with GOV.UK content standards and the GDS style guide.
- Ability to translate dense policy or legal language into plain English without losing accuracy.
- Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary agile teams.
- Confidence in content critique and the ability to explain decisions clearly.
