About the Role
This role is within a high-performing Investment Product & Services team, focusing on researching, evaluating, and delivering best-in-class managed investment solutions across public and private markets. The analyst will collaborate with senior investment professionals and the Investment Committee, gaining exposure to sophisticated portfolio construction and global investment strategies, including sustainable investing. This opportunity is for a driven analyst seeking to deepen investment expertise, work with industry leaders, and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support research, selection, and monitoring of managed funds across asset classes for the firm’s Approved Product List.
- Analyze fund manager reports, market trends, and portfolio positioning to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Prepare investment analysis and recommendations for internal committees, including quarterly and annual reviews.
- Partner with senior analysts and portfolio specialists on portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions.
- Assist in developing client-facing investment materials and insights for advisers and client conversations.
- Engage with fund managers, maintain due diligence notes, and contribute to robust investment processes.
- Support operational processes including fund administration, reporting, and data integrity.
- Contribute to the growth of sustainable investment offerings and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with advisers to deliver actionable investment ideas and support client engagement.
Requirements
- 4–5 years’ experience in investment analysis, funds management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data and market insights.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas and cross-team collaboration.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive, self-starting mindset with resilience and curiosity.
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business (RG146 or willingness to obtain).
