About the Role

Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Team Leader is crucial for the successful delivery of conferences, functions, and events. This leadership role involves supervising event service staff, ensuring standard function space setup, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Events Attendants during service.
• Ensure function rooms are set up according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Deliver outstanding customer service and manage enquiries.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Maintain high service, grooming, and presentation standards.
• Resolve customer and staff issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, and club policies.
• Monitor stock levels, cleanliness, and overall event readiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in events, functions, or hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
• Proactive, hands-on approach in fast-paced environments.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Professional presentation aligned with club standards.
