Responsibilities
- Deliver hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments, and flood management inputs for diverse projects.
- Contribute to infrastructure, urban development, local government, and water-related studies.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve practical project outcomes.
- Prepare high-standard technical reporting, mapping, presentations, and project deliverables.
- Build capability in project delivery, client engagement, and technical leadership with mentor support.
- Progress to a Senior Engineer/Scientist within 2 years.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
- 4+ years of experience in flood assessments, hydrology, and hydraulic modelling.
- Australian consulting experience required, with NSW experience beneficial.
- Strong experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, with TUFLOW essential.
- Understanding of RORB, URBS, WBNM, HEC-RAS, Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2019 principles, and relevant regional/local procedures.
- Strong communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience on major infrastructure projects is helpful.
