About the Role
The Key Customer Lead (KCL) department, part of Commercial, leads Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and supports the strategic execution of insight generation to guide company direction. KCL collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and other teams on the planning and execution of Alexion's Commercial Speaker Program (CSP). This field-based senior position reports directly to the BU head and requires teamwork, collaboration, advanced expertise, and a team player who thrives in Alexion's culture.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with KOLs in hematology and renal disease areas, provide speaker training, and foster their development to lead strategic marketing and sales execution through CSP and other marketing initiatives.
- Focus on building relationships with KOLs, providing speaker training, and fostering their development in the newly added IgAN indication area, collaborating with relevant departments to lead the IgAN area through CSP and marketing initiatives.
- Identify KOL profiles and influence mapping, create engagement plans for KOL development, manage progress, and propose CSPs.
- Lead speakers in creating slide decks by proposing presentation content structure and core slides, and supporting slide reviews.
- Gain insights into new disease knowledge and treatment changes in related disease areas that may impact marketing strategy, collaborate with Medical Affairs, and provide feedback to Marketing.
- Train speakers and chairpersons, ensuring compliance with Alexion's rules during presentations.
- Collaborate with field partners, such as Medical Science Liaisons, for complementary KOL development for shared customers.

- Experience in Project Management, such as CSP seminars.

- Marketing or sales experience during new product launch timing (preferred).
