About the Role
The Key Customer Lead (KCL) department, part of Commercial, supports the strategic execution of insight generation by leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to define the company's direction. KCL collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and other teams in planning and executing Alexion's Commercial Speaker Program (CSP). KCL members require teamwork, collaboration, advanced professional knowledge, and a team player mindset to thrive within Alexion's culture. This is a field-based senior position within the commercial organization, reporting directly to the BU head.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with KOLs in blood and kidney disease areas.
- Train and develop speakers.
- Lead strategic execution of marketing and sales through CSP and other marketing initiatives in the blood and kidney disease areas.
- Focus on building relationships, training, and developing speakers in the newly added IgAN area.
- Lead the IgAN area through CSP and marketing initiatives in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Identify KOL profiles and influence mapping.
- Create and manage engagement plans for KOL development.
- Propose CSPs.
- Propose presentation content and core slides for speaker slide deck creation.
- Support slide review and lead speakers.
- Gain insights into new disease knowledge and treatment changes in relevant disease areas impacting marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and provide feedback to Marketing.
- Train speakers and chairpersons.
- Ensure compliance with Alexion's rules during presentations.
- Collaborate with field partners like Medical Science Liaisons for complementary KOL development for common customers.
