About the Role

The Key Customer Lead (KCL) department, part of Commercial, leads Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support the strategic execution of insight generation, guiding the company's direction. KCL collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and other teams on Alexion's Commercial Speaker Program (CSP) planning and execution. KCL members require teamwork, collaboration, advanced professional knowledge, and a team player mindset to thrive in Alexion's culture. This is a field-based senior position within the Commercial organization, reporting directly to the BU head.

Responsibilities

  • Build, train, develop, and nurture relationships with KOLs in the blood and kidney disease areas.
  • Lead the strategic execution of marketing and sales through CSP and other marketing initiatives in the relevant disease areas.
  • Focus on KOL relationship building, speaker training, development, and nurturing in the newly added IgAN indication area, collaborating with relevant departments to lead the IgAN area through CSP and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify KOL profiles and influence mapping, create engagement plans for KOL development, manage progress, and propose CSPs.
  • Lead speakers in creating slide decks by proposing presentation content structure and core slides, and supporting slide reviews.
  • Gain insights into new disease knowledge and treatment changes in related disease areas that may impact marketing strategy, collaborate with Medical Affairs, and provide feedback to Marketing.
  • Train speakers and chairpersons to ensure compliance with Alexion's rules during presentations.
  • Collaborate with field partners, such as Medical Science Liaisons, for complementary KOL development for shared customers.

  • High proficiency in reading English papers.
  • Proficiency in creating documents using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in project management, such as CSP seminars.
  • Experience in the blood and kidney disease area (preferred).
