About the Role
Deliver exceptional customer service, lead an outstanding team, and inspire great performance in a results-driven, customer-focused, and dynamic retail environment. This is a permanent, full-time position on a rotating 4-week roster, requiring availability to work full alternate weekends.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities, develop and execute strategies, and analyze reports to achieve KPIs
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Support company promotions and sales events
- Coach and develop team members to drive performance
- Provide exceptional customer service to achieve world-class standards
- Drive Design Services business by motivating associates
- Create and ensure a positive environment in accordance with the People-First Philosophy
Requirements
- Retail leadership experience, ideally in homewares or specialty retail
- Passion for customer service and enhancing customers' lives at home
- Ability to coach, mentor, inspire, and grow a team to meet and exceed goals
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and think creatively
- Proven success in achieving results independently and through teamwork
- Commitment to exceeding customer expectations and closing sales
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop timely action plans
- Ability to independently lead self and others to achieve results
- Ability to be mobile in store and back-of-house areas, including standing for long periods
- Ability to climb ladders and use equipment in line with safety standards
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30kg using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
