About the Role

Deliver exceptional customer service, lead an outstanding team, and inspire great performance in a results-driven, customer-focused, and dynamic retail environment. This is a permanent, full-time position on a rotating 4-week roster, requiring availability to work full alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities, develop and execute strategies, and analyze reports to achieve KPIs
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Support company promotions and sales events
  • Coach and develop team members to drive performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service to achieve world-class standards
  • Drive Design Services business by motivating associates
  • Create and ensure a positive environment in accordance with the People-First Philosophy

Requirements

  • Retail leadership experience, ideally in homewares or specialty retail
  • Passion for customer service and enhancing customers' lives at home
  • Ability to coach, mentor, inspire, and grow a team to meet and exceed goals
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and think creatively
  • Proven success in achieving results independently and through teamwork
  • Commitment to exceeding customer expectations and closing sales
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop timely action plans
  • Ability to independently lead self and others to achieve results
  • Ability to be mobile in store and back-of-house areas, including standing for long periods
  • Ability to climb ladders and use equipment in line with safety standards
  • Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30kg using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
