About the Role
Lead and manage the development and delivery of bus infrastructure projects in NSW, focusing on public transport network outcomes, zero-emission initiatives, and service improvements. Shape and transform urban spaces, contribute to sustainable development, and create vibrant communities. Provide high-level project support to senior management, managing cross-functional matters including safety, finance, project governance, reporting, strategic planning, and organizational improvement. Guide and coordinate bus-related project planning, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and providing technical expertise and operational support for various project matters.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bus infrastructure projects for NSW public transport network outcomes.
- Oversee projects supporting zero-emission bus initiatives and service improvements.
- Develop and deliver zero-emission bus depots, interchanges, and integrated transport bus corridor projects.
- Provide high-level project support to divisional senior management.
- Manage cross-functional matters including safety, finance, project governance, reporting, strategic planning, and organizational improvement.
- Guide and coordinate bus-related project planning, aligning with corporate strategies.
- Translate bus-specific strategies and plans into performance targets and provide regular reporting.
- Offer advice, technical expertise, and operational support on bus project matters, including zero-emissions initiatives, business cases, finance, and procurement.
- Prepare complex correspondence, briefing notes, and reports.
- Ensure effective financial and procurement governance through robust management processes and policy compliance.
- Drive integrated bus project planning, aligning with divisional accountabilities, corporate strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage governance, risk, and issue resolution by prioritizing demands and escalating critical issues.
- Resolve people-related and operational matters with HR and specialists.
- Oversee administrative and operational functions, including office procedures, records management, and purchasing.
Requirements
