About the Role

Support the maintenance and repair of electronic systems and associated equipment for Railway projects within the Maintenance Services team. Primarily responsible for repairing diverse electronic systems from various train fleets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine examinations, component-level fault finding, interrogation, and diagnostic testing on electronic equipment.
  • Install system hardware and software upgrades.
  • Maintain and repair workshop test benches and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, good housekeeping practices, and utilize safety equipment.
  • Report daily and weekly activities, identified problems, and corrective measures.
  • Write, edit, and complete procedures, reports, and check sheets.

Requirements

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Sound troubleshooting skills with electronic equipment and systems, including PCB board diagnostics.
  • Experience using troubleshooting equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and external power supplies.
  • Capability to design test procedures and benches (advantageous).
