About the Role

Direct and coordinate store operations activities in the absence of Store Director, Assistant Store Director, or other management to ensure optimum efficiency and economy of operations. Ensure associate work shifts contribute to the store's financial best interest. Complete all assigned duties in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associate adherence to company policies.
• Operate cashier register and courtesy counter desk.
• Handle customer concerns efficiently.
• Understand store layout and location of safety and emergency equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas and provide feedback to department managers.
• Manage time clock maintenance in the absence of the Store Director or specified department manager.
• Close the store, including locking doors, turning off lights, and arming the store.
• Possess knowledge of product locations to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked store.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• Perform tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Ability to work in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Ability to work in an environment with low to moderate noise levels.
• Travel requirements vary by assignment.
