About the Role
This high-impact role focuses on landing and expanding 6-7 figure deals within complex, global enterprises by targeting approximately 50 of the world's largest companies. The Strategic AE will work directly with the VP of Revenue to secure company-defining accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own a curated list of top 50 mega-cap enterprise accounts.
- Develop deep, surgical account plans including organizational, power, and political mapping.
- Create and drive multi-threaded strategies across business units.
- Manage complex, high-stakes sales cycles involving 6-10+ stakeholders.
- Sell credibly to VP, SVP, and C-suite executives.
- Drive urgency within slow-moving organizations.
- Close large, multi-year, 6-7 figure deals.
- Conduct cold outbound to senior executives and secure responses.
- Utilize creativity, persistence, and network to open new account opportunities.
- Convert light inbound leads into significant opportunities.
- Engage executives, product, and engineering at strategic moments to secure wins.
- Maintain control of deals, preventing delays from procurement or consensus issues.
- Maintain high standards for pipeline, forecasting, and deal quality.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience with a track record of closing significant deals.
- Proven track record of winning 6-7 figure enterprise contracts.
- Experience selling into and navigating complex, global organizations.
- Proficiency in multi-threading sales strategies.
- Strong executive presence, capable of engaging senior buyers.
- Ability to create new pipeline, not just manage existing.
- Competitive, persistent, and resilient in sales pursuits.
- Desire to focus on high-impact deals rather than padded pipeline.
