About the Role

This role is a key member of the Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes to add value and quality to inputs and create high-quality final products. The role involves operating machinery, equipment, and packaging final products, gaining experience in transforming raw materials into finished goods for customers. This position is part of the Purina Animal Nutrition business, which serves producers and animal owners across the United States by innovating nutritional products and practices for healthier, more productive animal lives.

Responsibilities

Comply with all safety processes and ensure safety practices of self and others.
Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
Multi-task and meet production demands in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Collaborate and follow instructions from Leads and Management for daily assignments.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
Basic computer skills.
Basic math skills.
Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Willingness to problem-solve.
Willingness to troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration skills.
Strong communication skills.
Always respectful.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Work in temperature zones including cold and/or hot environments for extended periods.
Work in areas where dust and chemicals may be present.

Salary/Compensations

$24.50 per hour.
$1.00 per hour shift differential.
