Responsibilities

  • Support portfolio health checks and commercial assurance reviews to identify emerging risks, trends, variances, control gaps, and performance issues across projects and regions.
  • Translate commercial data into clear insights, recommendations, and actions for Commercial Development leadership and relevant project stakeholders.
  • Drive consistent use of core commercial systems and reporting tools, including cost and contract management, procurement, project reporting, and related platforms, ensuring data quality and process discipline across regions.
  • Monitor commercial reporting standards, SLAs, and quality expectations for project teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete inputs into portfolio reporting.
  • Partner with regional commercial leads, project teams, Finance, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Development leadership to align reporting outputs, resolve data gaps, and improve confidence in commercial information.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives where recurring issues, reporting inconsistencies, or commercial performance gaps are identified.
  • Guide and support Analysts and Systems/Reporting resources, helping to set priorities, maintain delivery rhythm, and build scalable ways of working.
  • Maintain and improve commercial playbooks, reporting protocols, dashboards, and governance documentation to support consistent execution across existing and new markets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial management, portfolio performance, governance and reporting, construction management, project controls, or a related discipline within complex development, digital infrastructure, construction, or capital delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading reporting, governance, performance management, or assurance workstreams across multiple projects, regions, or business units.
  • Strong understanding of commercial project delivery, including cost management, forecasting, cashflow, contract administration, procurement, variations, claims, risk management, and project controls.
  • Experience developing and maintaining senior management and executive-level reports, dashboards, scorecards, portfolio health checks, and performance insights.
  • Strong data discipline, with the ability to interrogate commercial inputs, identify trends and variances, challenge inconsistent information, and convert analysis into clear, practical actions.
  • Experience with commercial systems and reporting platforms, including cost and contract management, project reporting, procurement, ERP, dashboarding, or business intelligence tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence regional teams, functional leaders, and senior stakeholders while maintaining clear standards and accountability.
  • Experience guiding analysts, reporting resources, or cross-functional workstreams, with the ability to set priorities, coach others, and support scalable team capability.
