About the Role
Empower individuals in the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program to live independently and improve their quality of life by teaching essential living skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify client support needs in areas like self-care, communication, financial management, and social skills.
- Teach essential life skills including cooking, budgeting, job readiness, and transportation navigation.
- Develop client problem-solving strategies, emotional regulation, and decision-making skills.
- Track client improvements, adjust interventions, and ensure compliance with medical and safety guidelines.
- Connect clients with community resources to promote independence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of verifiable brain injury client experience, OR a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of verifiable brain injury related experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 3+ years of a good driving record.
- Proof of insurance.
- Flexible schedule.
- Acquired Brain Injury Certification.
- Person-Centered Certifications.

Experience Level
