About the Role

This role involves handling Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups. The company provides comprehensive training, requiring no prior garage door experience, to ensure success in your market.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups.
  • Complete garage door inspections using a checklist.
  • Manage call back visits to resolve initial service issues.
  • Transform negative customer experiences into positive ones.
  • Educate customers on their garage door and inspection findings.
  • Receive purchase orders for the warehouse and update inventory counts.
  • Assist Area Managers or Market Leads with load outs for technicians and installers.
  • Maintain physical warehouse inventory and update records.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding THC) and criminal background check.
  • Proficiency with basic software, navigation apps, tablets, and computers.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Required reading skills.
  • Required basic math skills, including measurements and payment calculations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Current eligibility to legally work in the United States.
  • Desire for perfect functionality.
  • Ability to explain mechanical concepts simply.
  • Problem-solving and customer service orientation.
  • Methodical, reliable, and trustworthy work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and capable of autonomous work.
  • Agile and adaptable to various tasks, regardless of size.

Skills

  • Home service industry repair and maintenance experience.
  • Manufacturing repair and maintenance experience.
  • Automotive repair and maintenance experience.
  • Basic software proficiency (navigation apps, Google).
  • Tablet and computer usage.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Reading comprehension.
  • Basic mathematical skills (measurements, payments).

  • Local market (post-training)

Work Type

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations

  • $1,000 bonus upon training completion.
  • Overtime eligibility for hours exceeding 40 per week during apprenticeship.
