About the Role

Hotel Zeppelin, part of Sage Hospitality Group, seeks a team member to serve guests with creativity and passion, contributing to a vibrant and vivacious hub that celebrates San Francisco’s counterculture. The role involves cooking delicious smash burgers and savory sides, delighting guests, and ensuring proper service through quality control and sanitation at PLS on Post, a casual dining spot.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all items served are cooked and presented efficiently, consistently, and with quality.
• Prep ingredients for menu items.
• Monitor line setup prior to all meal functions for maximum efficiency during meal periods.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and adhere to the kitchen "clean as you go" policy.
• Follow all food safety handling rules.
• Start food items prepared ahead of time, ensuring not to exceed estimated needs.
• Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line setup.
• Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
• Return all unused food items to designated storage areas, covering and dating perishables.
• Perform all kitchen closing procedures, including food storage, kitchen and appliance cleanliness, and stewarding duties, ensuring readiness for the next shift.
• Perform all other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to work Saturday-Tuesday (PM).
