About the Role

The Sr. Client Service Representative is responsible for day-to-day servicing for Japanese trust banks and asset managers. This role focuses on assigned functional services within Global Custody disciplines, managing client relationships and overseeing product offerings to ensure high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform custody account opening, closing, and maintenance based on client instructions.
  • Coordinate globally to open new markets and ensure trade readiness.
  • Manage client invoicing and fee receivables.
  • Set up systems related to client onboarding and invoicing.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests and inquiries from clients and internal teams.
  • Enhance workflows and related systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of direct reports.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff for improved individual and team performance.
  • Participate in the interview and selection process for job applicants.
  • Assist new staff members in learning job-specific tasks.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in client onboarding, invoicing, or client service within Custody, Trust Banks, or Middle/Back Office functions in Asset Management or Brokerage.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools.
  • Strong interest in optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Experience training or supporting others is a plus.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
