About the Role

At Anduril we are developing un-crewed maritime and air domain systems that leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of long endurance, multi-mission capability to our customers. These projects, including but not limited to the Extra Large Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (XL-AUV) Program, require a Technical Program Manager with experience of end to end project delivery from planning, coordination and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily schedules and engineering for integrated project teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute software and hardware test events.
  • Demonstrate high ownership and partner with engineers.
  • Execute on broad or ambiguous requirements from internal and external partners to deliver outcomes across multiple programs.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate cross-team dependencies.
  • Remove obstacles, clarify progress, identify communication/schedule gaps, manage escalations, and support teams with competing priorities.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to drive program execution and team velocity across departments.
  • Manage and accelerate cross-team projects and initiatives, fostering efficient project management workflows.
  • Identify and resolve systemic execution issues across teams.
  • Partner with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities for company milestones.
  • Collaborate with hardware, product, and test operations teams.
  • Track and communicate program progress, defining efficient status communication processes.
  • Understand architectural technical implementation, propose alternatives, and clarify priorities.

Requirements

  • Solid technical aptitude to understand designs, SDLC, challenges, and risks.
  • Strong project management experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
  • Understanding of complex system test and integration.
  • Ability to work effectively in minimally structured environments with minimal direction.
  • Experience building software deliverable programs from scratch.
  • Experience creating communication plans for various stakeholders.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills to drive data-backed decisions.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Experience Level

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
