About the Role

At Anduril we are developing un-crewed maritime and air domain systems that leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of long endurance, multi-mission capability to our customers. These projects, including but not limited to the Extra Large Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (XL-AUV) Program, require a Technical Program Manager with experience of end to end project delivery from planning, coordination and execution.

Responsibilities

Manage daily schedules and engineering for integrated project teams.
Plan, coordinate, and execute software and hardware test events.
Demonstrate high ownership and partner with engineers.
Execute on broad or ambiguous requirements from internal and external partners to deliver outcomes across multiple programs.
Identify, resolve, and escalate cross-team dependencies.
Remove obstacles, clarify progress, identify communication/schedule gaps, manage escalations, and support teams with competing priorities.
Partner with engineering leaders to drive program execution and team velocity across departments.
Manage and accelerate cross-team projects and initiatives, fostering efficient project management workflows.
Identify and resolve systemic execution issues across teams.
Partner with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities for company milestones.
Collaborate with hardware, product, and test operations teams.
Track and communicate program progress, defining efficient status communication processes.
Understand architectural technical implementation, propose alternatives, and clarify priorities.

Requirements

Solid technical aptitude to understand designs, SDLC, challenges, and risks.
Strong project management experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
Understanding of complex system test and integration.
Ability to work effectively in minimally structured environments with minimal direction.
Experience building software deliverable programs from scratch.
Experience creating communication plans for various stakeholders.
Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills to drive data-backed decisions.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Experience Level

Minimum 5+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.

Education Level

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
