About the Role

Wing is seeking an Events Specialist to own our presence at industry events, tradeshows, and conferences across North America. This role is ideal for someone with 1-4 years of experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys event logistics. You will partner closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure events drive pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Source and prioritize events, researching and recommending tradeshows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, and venues, negotiating sponsorships, booth space, and speaking slots.
  • Plan and execute events end-to-end, managing booth design, shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, and travel logistics.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact, attending events in person to set up, tear down, and troubleshoot.
  • Prepare the attending team by briefing them on objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics.
  • Partner with sales to book pre-show meetings, run on-site events, and ensure prompt lead follow-up.
  • Collaborate with marketing on pre- and post-event campaigns, including email outreach, landing pages, and social promotion.
  • Manage the event budget, tracking costs, forecasting accurately, and making trade-off decisions.
  • Define event KPIs and report on results, analyzing what worked and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, ideally B2B or tech.
  • A track record of organizing events end to end.
  • Experience managing an events budget, including forecasting, tracking spend, and making trade-offs.
  • Comfortable defining KPIs and building reports that connect event activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Demonstrated use of AI to automate or improve event marketing work.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and in person.
  • Ability to problem-solve under pressure.
  • Willing and able to travel 30 to 50% during peak event seasons across North America, with potential European travel.
