About the Role

We are seeking experienced, hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our award-winning portfolio in New York City. This role offers an opportunity to become part of a storytelling-driven hospitality experience where every cocktail and interaction contributes to something greater than service alone. You will play an integral role in shaping the atmosphere and defining the experience across each concept, working alongside award-winning chefs and beverage leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Executes a high-level craft cocktail program with precision, consistency, and speed while maintaining an engaging and hospitality-driven guest experience.
  • Actively leads the bar environment by guiding guest preferences, storytelling ingredients, and delivering thoughtful, tailored recommendations.
  • Upholds the integrity of fresh juices, house-made syrups, infusions, and perishable ingredients, ensuring quality from prep through service.
  • Balances technical excellence and warm hospitality, creating an experience, not just serving drinks.
  • Maintains strict standards for fresh citrus, juices, syrups, shrubs, and batched cocktails, including proper labeling, dating, and storage.
  • Prepares and/or oversees daily mise en place: fresh juice pressing, garnish prep, batching, and station organization.
  • Ensures all cocktails are executed to spec using jiggers, proper dilution, temperature control, and technique.
  • Monitors quality control of all ingredients, immediately addressing oxidation, spoilage, or inconsistencies.
  • Contributes to seasonal menu development, R&D, and continuous refinement of cocktails and prep processes.
  • Delivers elevated, detail-driven service, anticipating needs and creating a personalized guest journey.
  • Engages guests through product knowledge and storytelling (spirits, vermouths, amari, ingredients, techniques).
  • Confidently recommends spirit-forward, low-ABV, zero-proof, and food pairings based on guest preferences.
  • Maintains awareness of pacing and flow, ensuring seamless service at the bar and in the lounge.
  • Maintains clean, organized, and fully stocked stations, with a focus on efficiency and cleanliness at all times.
  • Executes opening and closing procedures with attention to prep levels, pars, and next-day readiness.
  • Accurately completes all POS entries, cash handling, and end-of-shift financials.
  • Communicates clearly with FOH/BOH to ensure timely, accurate service and guest satisfaction.
  • Adheres to DOH standards, with heightened awareness of handling fresh and perishable products.
  • Participates in ongoing education including tastings, product training, and technique refinement.
  • Shares knowledge and supports team growth, helping elevate overall bar performance.
  • Maintains a disciplined, professional presence behind the bar, especially during high-volume service.
  • Takes ownership of the bar as a craft environment, not just a service station.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a craft cocktail bar or high-level beverage program.
  • Strong understanding of classic cocktails, modern techniques, and flavor balance.
  • Hands-on experience with fresh juice programs, batching, infusions, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Demonstrates precision, cleanliness, and discipline behind the bar without sacrificing speed.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
  • Passion for hospitality, continuous learning, and mentorship.
  • Physically capable of the role (standing, lifting, repetitive motion).
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
