About the Role
As a Data Scientist I, you will provide data and analytic support by working with large databases and applying quantitative methodologies. You will perform comprehensive analyses to produce data-driven solutions and recommendations that improve business outcomes, operations, and profitability while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide data and analytic support for a specific subject matter area.
- Work with large databases and apply quantitative methodologies using advanced analytical tools.
- Perform substantive, comprehensive, and quantitative analyses to produce data-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams to improve business outcomes.
- Perform standard assignments and expand knowledge of fundamental theories and practices.
- Identify and solve problems in straightforward situations using established procedures.
- Respond to non-standard requests from internal and external customers.
- Manage time and priorities to meet deadlines within established guidelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Health Services Research, Process Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of three to four years of hands-on experience with inferential statistics, A/B testing, machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Experience working in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional departments to provide guidance or leadership.
- Project management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Must reside in the state of Arizona.
