About the Role
This role is for a hybrid professional who both designs and builds, owning experiences end-to-end from research and interface design to implementation. You will have autonomy and direct influence on products that support women and allies in reaching their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes including research, concept, and prototyping for web and mobile.
- Build and evolve scalable design systems and patterns.
- Proactively identify user experience improvements and propose solutions.
- Take features from design concept to production release.
- Develop responsive, accessible front-end experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while troubleshooting across the stack.
- Partner with product, data, and leadership to translate user needs into shipped solutions.
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and security.
- Help shape engineering and design standards as the team grows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience across design and engineering, or deep experience in one with demonstrated ability in the other.
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered thinking and strong execution.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design systems.
- Strong front-end skills in modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Working back-end proficiency in languages such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Java.
- Comfort building RESTful APIs.
- Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
- Fluency with or strong curiosity about AI-assisted design and development tools.
- Self-starter capable of working with autonomy and minimal direction.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary/Compensations
- $130,000 - $200,000 base salary
- Up to 15% annual performance bonus
