About the Role

Influential Product Owner role in a technology company building mission-critical applications, shaping the mobile user experience for field professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, planning, and execution of mobile offerings.
• Drive Agile processes and prioritize backlogs for high-value delivery.
• Facilitate scrum ceremonies and maintain transparency on feature releases.
• Collaborate across R&D and customer-facing teams.
• Champion user-centered design and influence positive change, efficiency, and quality in mobile applications.
• Partner with the Product Manager to ensure technical blueprints align with strategic roadmaps.
• Manage the feature timeline and unblock the engineering/AI pipeline daily.
• Ensure sprint commitments are met.
• Act as the technical bridge between strategic intent and R&D by prioritizing 'Spec Reviews'.
• Author and maintain structured 'Living Specs' (.spec.md files).
• Iterate on specifications when automated tests fail.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve backlog management, feature design, and support processes.
• Stay updated on emerging mobile technology trends and seek feature innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or recognized Product Owner/Product Management certification.
• 4+ years of experience in software product ownership, preferably in mobile applications or technical domains.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and product management practices.
• Proven ability to translate customer and business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product management/development tracking solutions.
• Knowledge of mobile application design, development cycles, and release management practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information, prioritize effectively, and focus on delivering value.
• Passion for improving user experience for field professionals and driving continuous product improvement.
• Eligible to work in the US (visa sponsorship not provided).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
