About the Role

This role offers a key leadership opportunity to manage client relationships, oversee complex tax engagements, and mentor staff, contributing to the firm's growth and success in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a front-line client advisor, developing strong, lasting relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance.
  • Lead complex tax planning and strategy engagements, offering innovative solutions to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Review and evaluate tax research, methodology, and conclusions for accuracy and quality.
  • Represent clients during IRS audits, administrative hearings, and other regulatory interactions.
  • Collaborate with Partners on practice development, management, and strategic initiatives.
  • Represent the firm within professional and community organizations.
  • Oversee Tax Department scheduling and workload management.
  • Mentor and develop Tax Staff, In-Charges, and Supervisors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive tax experience (7+ years for Senior Tax Manager), preferably in public accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
  • Active CPA license required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service and professional integrity.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, strategic mindset.
