About the Role
An alarm technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security alarm systems in homes and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Install and service commercial alarm systems
- Install alarm devices and accessories
- Program alarm systems
- Train customers on alarm systems
- Test systems to ensure proper functionality
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions or connection issues
- Write service reports and document work performed
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
Requirements
- Must have a strong background in Electronic Security Integration with 2+ years industry experience
- Strong customer service orientation required
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
- Ability to work independently on customer site
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with the customer along with the ability to identify and satisfy customer needs
- Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management and organizational skills
- Able to lift 25lbs
