About the Role

As the Product Manager, Monetization & Growth, you will own key product experiences that drive customer acquisition, conversion, monetization, expansion, and retention across Crunchbase's product-led growth motion. You will manage systems and business levers that help customers discover value, choose plans, convert, and remain engaged, while partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize funnels and build scalable monetization systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own product experiences and systems influencing acquisition, conversion, monetization, expansion, and retention.
  • Develop and evolve monetization strategies across pricing, packaging, subscriptions, billing, and account growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer value realization while driving business growth.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, revenue opportunity, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead the design, testing, and optimization of pricing and packaging models.
  • Own product requirements for pricing, billing, checkout, upgrade, downgrade, and cancellation experiences.
  • Partner with Engineering and Finance to ensure accurate implementation of monetization systems.
  • Monitor pricing performance and recommend changes based on market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Optimize self-service growth opportunities across the customer journey.
  • Identify and resolve friction points within key conversion funnels.
  • Partner with Marketing and Revenue teams to improve growth experiences across web and product touchpoints.
  • Evaluate emerging opportunities such as AI search and answer engine optimization.
  • Own enterprise administration capabilities including team management, user provisioning, and account governance.
  • Partner with Revenue and Customer Success to identify opportunities for account expansion.
  • Leverage analytics, experimentation, and AI-powered tools to understand customer behavior and usage patterns.
  • Define success metrics and monitor business performance.
  • Use data and customer research to validate product decisions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Communicate product strategy, tradeoffs, and results to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of monetization, pricing, growth, billing, or subscriptions.
  • Experience optimizing self-service customer journeys including onboarding, conversion, and retention.
  • Experience with subscription, usage-based, or hybrid SaaS business models.
  • Experience leveraging experimentation, analytics, and customer research to drive product decisions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Revenue, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Strong understanding of product-led growth, monetization, and pricing models.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong product management fundamentals including discovery, prioritization, delivery, and measurement.
  • Ability to balance customer experience, business outcomes, and technical constraints.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and research.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces.
