About the Role
As an Electrical Design Consultant, you will guide homebuyers through the design process using Bluebeam, recommending high and low voltage electrical solutions to enhance their homes. This role combines technical expertise with customer service to improve the homeowner experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to review electrical floor plans and conduct a thorough walk-through of their homes, room by room using Bluebeam.
- Identify potential upgrades for low-voltage and high-voltage needs to recommend the right products and solutions for each homeowner, including data drops, speakers, security systems, lights, outlets, and generator prep.
- Audit and evaluate designs from other consultants, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Inspect Builder Inventory Homes to verify electrical installations meet the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Coachable and eager to learn new processes.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills for efficient and accurate paperwork completion.
- Valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle for local travel.
- Keen eye for detail in electrical designs.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
