About the Role
P.I.L.O.T. Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on support and help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live active, meaningful lives. Under new leadership, we are focused on respect, teamwork, and creating engaging experiences for both individuals and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and supervision to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities
- Assist with personal care and promote independence in daily living skills
- Transport individuals to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Plan and participate in engaging activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, games, and outings
- Support community involvement through volunteering, shopping trips, and social events
- Maintain accurate daily documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- A verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
- A valid New Jersey auto driver's license with less than 5 points; probationary not accepted
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible, patient, and creative

Work Type
- Full Time
- Tuesday to Saturday : 3pm to 11pm
Experience Level
- Experience desired, but not necessary; we will train and support you
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
Salary/Compensations
- $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly
