About the Role

The Junior E-Merchandise Manager role is pivotal to the successful growth of the Chanel.com business and the implementation of Campaign & product Launches to drive the wider Ecommerce Strategy. The role is responsible for the E-Commerce Trading and end to end Campaign Management for Chanel.com. This role manages E-Commerce forecasting, as well as leading the activation of all Campaigns including product ownerships and e-Merchandising for new launches across UK, Canada, Ireland and South Africa Chanel.com. The role also manages detailed weekly, monthly, yearly analysis on traffic, product performance and Client purchase behaviour to develop the Chanel.com business. In addition, the role works in partnership on Traffic Acquisition channels to drive successful Campaign performance. As well as leading on site Personalisation and supporting UX Testing Program for the UK Region. The role works in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across Regional, Global and local departments including Marketing, Operations, IT, Digital Design, as well as Global E-Business teams in Paris.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for trade and analytics reporting on a weekly, monthly, ad-hoc basis, sharing insights & actions with the Ecommerce and wider teams.
  • Providing insights on Digital campaigns across Chanel.com using multiple sources of data to provide constructive campaign analysis.
  • Collaborate with Senior E-Commerce Manager on producing key presentations for stakeholder meetings sharing insights on performance to drive future strategic conversations.
  • Management of overall Campaign go-live process, overseeing local merchandising strategies.
  • Manage the E-Commerce commercial calendar including Digital campaign launches, product activations/deactivations and CMS updates, ensuring a streamlined process and alignment with Marketing, Retail and CRM
  • Drive the success of the e-Commerce product and campaign assortment attending buying cycles to forecast new campaigns and initiatives as well as maintaining the product range reviewing sales and stock levels alongside warehouse and Supply Chain
  • Regional E-Merchandising support for Ireland and supporting local teams in Canada and South Africa.
  • Collaborate with CRM team to optimise campaigns based on site trends and trade activations.
  • Ensure strong EDM strategy that both supports key campaigns and local trends.
  • Regularly explore opportunities to increase traffic to website, monitoring performance and highlighting new initiatives that could be explored.
  • Develop a robust on site, pre and post purchase Personalisation program targeted with improving user journeys and conversion rate metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with market and regional teams to generate ideas and compare programs to best build a roadmap of initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with E-Commerce team on Digital performance to support A/B testing program.
  • Co-manage the relationship with Digital Agency to build, test, run and report on all initiatives & experiments.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills with 5+ years experience in e-Commerce trade and reporting
  • Strong technical understanding, with experience of e-Commerce platforms and IT operations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with stakeholders, coupled with an agile, proactive mindset focused on continuous business improvement.
  • Strong ability to generate innovative ideas and drive influence.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail, able to effectively manage and prioritise.
  • Advanced Excel Knowledge, GA4, Content square, Power BI or other reporting system preferred
  • Strong presentation & PowerPoint skills
