About the Role
Robert Half is hiring a Collections Administrator to join the Credit and Collections department. This role supports various collection teams and handles administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Research SF to locate bill to email to perm client.
- Read system notes regarding special handling and/or extended terms.
- Use email templates to send emails to clients in a timely manner, maintaining daily production requirements.
- Add extended terms to the Welcome email where applicable.
- Notate PeopleSoft system that email was sent and set up a manual follow-up.
- Monitor mailbox for client response and adjust manual follow-up accordingly.
- Send duplicate invoices upon client request.
- Prepare legal files for electronic submission to the Recovery Department.
- Maintain office file documentation.
- Prepare Consolidated Aging reports for distribution to Credit Managers.
- Run needed aging reports for PCMs.
- Provide credit card processing support.
- Offer clerical support to collection teams during absences.
- Handle other special projects as assigned.
- Review return mail, check PeopleSoft notes for updated addresses or duplicate invoices, and refer to PCM if necessary.
- Handle telephone reception as needed.
- Monitor and respond to general department voicemail messages.
- Answer incoming overflow of client telephone calls.
- Take messages, provide information, and direct callers.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment for the department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of previous clerical experience required.
- Up to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows & XMedius FAX software.
- Ten key and basic math skills.
- Ability to learn other applications easily.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Background check required upon offer of employment.
