About the Role

The Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution for the Common Gatekeeper (CGK) platform, a foundational enterprise gateway for authentication, authorization, identity resolution, and secure request orchestration. This role involves partnering with engineering, security, and compliance teams to evolve the platform for global scale, developer experience, and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for the CGK platform.
• Define and communicate a clear product vision with measurable objectives and KPIs.
• Lead the evolution of a multi-tenant authentication and authorization platform.
• Drive platform capabilities that simplify onboarding and integration for internal teams.
• Partner with engineering and architecture to define requirements for secure identity resolution and request enrichment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize platform capabilities and ensure a consistent developer experience.
• Shape regional and cross-border strategy to support data residency and regulatory compliance.
• Prioritize the product backlog and manage tradeoffs across scalability, technical debt, and risk.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value and narratives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure predictable execution and delivery.
• Review operational metrics and platform feedback to inform roadmap priorities.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, and release reviews.
• Act as a product evangelist for platform capabilities and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years with an Advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and enterprise trust models.
• Experience with authentication technologies such as OAuth, mTLS, API keys, and service identity patterns.
• Familiarity with developer platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with regulatory, compliance, or data residency considerations in global environments.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel 5-10% of the time.
• Ability to work in an office setting at least 3 days per week.
