About the Role

Responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of into-plane and GSE fueling operations, including activity scheduling, manpower planning, fuel quality audits, budgeting/forecasting, and performance management. Ensures customer service standards are met and contract services are performed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and efficient operation to effect operational efficiency and economy through subordinate staff.
  • Ensure customer standards are met and contract services are performed.
  • Enforce company safety and health policies.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, IATA, ATA, U.S. Customs, airport authority, and Company rules and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with ATA 103 Fuel Quality Control Specification, NFPA 407 and FAR Part 139.321.
  • Monitor time and attendance tracking and manage staff to reduce overtime dependence through subordinate staff.
  • Liaise regularly with customers, airport authority, and governmental agency representatives.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees who violate company policy.
  • Confer with branch administrative personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine service adequacy or required changes.
  • Achieve location, employee, and aircraft incident/accident KPIs.
  • Achieve location on-time performance KPIs.
  • Achieve location financial performance KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years into-plane experience, with five years in a management role required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical or operating procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and work experience with Windows Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
