About the Role
The Marketing Data Scientist serves as the predictive intelligence engine for the Marketing and Market Access organization. This role focuses on identifying data connections, building predictive models, and creating forward-looking tools to inform commercial strategy through internal and external data synthesis.
Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory analysis, hypothesis generation, feature engineering, model construction, and validation
- Build and validate predictive models using machine learning and statistical methodologies
- Translate validated models into forward-looking dashboards or automated scoring systems
- Develop campaign lift attribution and causal inference models to isolate incremental referral lift
- Develop predictive analytics to support payer targeting and coverage expansion
- Train commercial team users on interpreting and acting on model outputs
- Communicate model pipeline status and collect stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement
- Manage projects to completion within scope, time, and budget
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a quantitative field
- 4-7 years of applied data science or machine learning experience in commercial or operational environments
- Experience creating predictive models for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work with messy healthcare commercial data
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with version-controlled code development and deployment
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM architecture, healthcare claims data, and Power BI/Fabric
