About the Role

MediaCo is seeking a Promotions Coordinator to assist with branding and marketing remotes, representing the radio station and clients at promotional events throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Represent the radio station and clients at promotional events.
• Coordinate and communicate with sponsors and venue organizations for events.
• Setup/breakdown tents and stages, operate sound systems, and maintain equipment.
• Organize remotes on location.
• Interact with event attendees and the public, handing out prizes and promotional materials.
• Host events and engage crowds with games on microphone.
• Write detailed recaps of station events and take photos.
• Assist with event preparation, stocking supplies, and packing equipment.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of related experience and/or training required.
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, dependable, timely, and accurate with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the public.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and standard office equipment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must maintain state-mandated automobile insurance.
• Occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
