About the Role

As a 2D Motion Designer, you will be significantly involved in shaping our videos. In close collaboration with our editorial and production team, you will transform exciting stories into expressive animations, ensuring each production has its own visual identity. This is a remote, freelance position with the potential for a permanent role based on mutual interest and suitability.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create high-quality 2D animations.
• Edit and stylize image and video material.

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in After Effects; experience with Cavalry is a plus.
• Strong sense of aesthetics and visual storytelling.
• Proven experience in 2D animation, ideally in the documentary film sector.
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
• Independence, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm for documentary and visual content.
• Basic German and English language skills.
