About the Role

Manages and supervises personnel and business activities of the Warehouse under guidance of the General Manager and Deputy General Manager. Responsible for overseeing all Warehouse functions including: receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, customer service, purchasing, P&L, budgeting, safety & security, and coordinating with various departments to ensure proper staffing and the ability to handle daily customer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement functional targets and action plans based on branch and department objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the efficient, cost-effective layout, organization, and daily operation of the warehouse.
  • Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, inventory control, pick/pack, stock replenishment, and claims handling.
  • Oversee customer service coordination, facility management, equipment operations and maintenance, budgeting, and safety management.
  • Ensure compliance with TSA guidelines and all applicable federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for TSA inspectors/officers and other government agencies.
  • Maintain and improve a safe, organized, and efficient workplace by enforcing 5S principles.
  • Ensure the security and safety of personnel and facilities, promote accident-prevention initiatives, and strengthen workplace safety programs.
  • Prevent accidents, operational errors, and cargo damage through training, process controls, monitoring, and continuous follow-up.
  • Lead investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive action planning, implementation, and follow-up improvement activities when incidents occur.
  • Optimize staffing, labor planning, and workforce allocation to meet daily customer demand consistently.
  • Manage all personnel activities within the department, including hiring, supervision, training, performance management, and employee development.
  • Ensure all levels of the department follow company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and develop data-driven improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of field operations by applying the PDCA cycle.
  • Manage budget adherence and propose equipment upgrades or capital improvements as necessary.
  • Create and maintain a positive, cooperative work environment for all employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Warehousing/Distribution and/or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Logistics Management.
  • 5 to 10 total years in Air Cargo Handling, Logistics and/or Business Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of TSA guidelines.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership in managing warehouse.
  • Knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of automated inventory control and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Effective communicator, written and verbal with diverse workforce and customer groups.
  • This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.
  • This position will require standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
  • Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.
